Day 1

Well we arrived safely and the monitors were hre to meet us with big smiles and strong arms to help carry the bags! The sun was shining and it still is for now.
 After breakfast they played some games to get to know each other so that they all knew each others' names. We then went up to see the bedrooms. All the girls are in one big room on one side of the house and all the boys are together on the other side.
In the afternoon we made the most of the good weather and played more games outside and they also did an adventure activity on ropes above the river. It was a bit difficult but nearly all of them managed to do it!

Then up to organise the rooms and empty their cases before dinner. We had soup, chicken (better than at school they said!) and fruit. Then out again for the night game where they had to find the key for the magic box. Last night it was blue and they had feathers to tickle each other in pairs and relax before bed!

And then off to bed ready for another full day!
